This page describes devinneal.com, including the family arcade and The Web Page.

The site today

The game code runs in your browser. Banana Blaster offers optional progress saving; no account is needed to play. We collect our own arcade analytics as described below. We have not enabled advertising scripts. The Google AdSense account verification tag identifies our publisher account; it does not load ads.

Arcade progress and game analytics

Banana Blaster keeps browser backups and a local queue of gameplay events. Runs collect levels and boss encounters, damage sources, movement totals, energy use, math problems, submitted answers, correctness, answer durations, and interruption information. Completed runs upload to our Cloudflare D1 service in a batch. Anonymous play uses random run and page-session identifiers without a player name.

If you choose a named profile, the same name and code can connect your math progress across supported games. Use a nickname rather than a real name. We attach that verified nickname and a stable player ID to runs and math history, so you can review learning over time. A matching name and random code are required to access a player's private report; histories and names are not publicly listed. Codes are sent only for authentication over HTTPS and stored server-side as hashes, not raw codes. Session tokens stay in page memory and expire after a day. There is no email recovery.

Detailed math history and run events are retained initially without automatic expiry. Existing saves are preserved as legacy aggregates without invented attempt dates. Loading a profile replaces the current displayed math report, while new recorded attempts append to shared history. Battles start fresh. Disconnecting leaves the cloud history stored; clearing browser storage removes local backups and unuploaded runs. Reconnect the same profile to upload its pending runs. Analytics help us improve game balance and inspect learning; we do not use these records for advertising.

To limit abuse, the arcade service counts profile creation, connection attempts, and uploads using a daily changing hash of the connecting IP address. Raw IP addresses are not stored in these counters. Expired counters are pruned in daily batches, usually within about two days. We also keep site-wide limits and use Cloudflare rate limiting.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts this site. Delivering a page involves technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the requested URL, which Cloudflare may process for delivery and security. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Planned Google advertising

We have applied to Google AdSense. Ads are not enabled yet. If we enable Google advertising, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising based on visits to this and other websites. These vendors may place and read cookies in your browser.

Learn how Google uses information on partner sites. You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and review other participating vendors’ choices at YourAdChoices. Where applicable, our consent message will offer consent, refusal, and preference controls before advertising is enabled. We will update this page to reflect the advertising services actually used.

Family games

The arcade and game pages currently have no ads. We will review the audience and Google’s requirements for child-directed content before adding advertising to those pages.

Links and updates

Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. We will update this page when the site’s data use changes.
